Troy Constance (B.Man, MBA) was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer in March 2016 to oversee the Australian operations of Sprout Agribusiness. Troy has extensive experience in large top 15 ASX financial services companies, where he has held senior leadership positions, interacting at the board and CEO level. He has led teams of over 500 people, been responsible for net profit contributions of $100 million and has experience in complicated transformational change programs. Troy also has extensive experience in corporate agribusiness investment. He has overseen the distribution network for over 15,000 family owned SME and agribusiness clients with more than $12 billion in assets.
Emma McMaster (B.Man) was appointed as an Agribusiness Manager for Sprout in January 2017. Emma grew up on a grazing property in the New England Tablelands. She is very enthusiastic and passionate about Agribusiness, which is demonstrated through her client centric focus. Emma prides herself in excelling customers’ expectations through providing the highest quality service. She is very committed within her own practice management in adding real value to the organisation. Emma’s background has evolved with over 12 years working in agribusiness, and also business banking, within Central and Northern New South Wales.
Tracey joined the company in September 2020 as an Agribusiness Manager. She has over 15 years experience working with a number of major financial institutions in the banking sector, across both Agribusiness and Retail. This experience has included leadership, relationship management and customer experience roles. Tracey has a passion for helping people. She endeavours to add value to her clients’ experience wherever possible, and she understands the challenges that customers can face in the everchanging financial landscape. Her commitment is to making their experience just that little bit easier. Growing up in regional NSW she believes in the importance of a sense of community and pride. She is excited by the opportunities and future of Agribusiness in Australia.
Sophie (B. Agribusiness) joined Sprout as an Agribusiness Manager within the Southern NSW team in February 2018. Since completing her tertiary education Sophie has worked in the agri-banking sector where she has worked with a range of agricultural enterprises gaining a extensive experience. Sophie has also spent time working with Council Organisations further developing her project management skills. Sophie is originally from a sheep and cropping farm operation near Bethungra in Southern NSW and now lives at Braidwood in the Southern Tablelands. Sophie believes quality relationship management is essential for farm businesses and prides herself on assisting clients within the Agribusiness sector. She understands the banking industry can be difficult to navigate and views a key aspect of her role is to simplify and manage the complex banking interactions for her clients.
Since the commencement of Sprout, Troy Constance has been the Managing Partner of Southern NSW Riverina alongside his role as the CEO. Troy has a wealth of knowledge through his prior agribusiness banking experience and is very passionate about assisting family farming businesses grow. Coming from a farming background, Troy is dedicated to helping the agri sector develop and grow, prospering into future generations. Troy has a particular interest in alternative finance and funding solutions, recognising that there is a finite period of time to increase ones wealth. He acknowledges the importance of utilising this time and believes it’s vital to have the right business advisors surrounding you.
David Charge commenced with Sprout in May 2016 as the Managing Director of Central NSW. David holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics at the University of Sydney and brings a wealth of operational and financial expertise to Sprout Agribusiness. David’s extensive leadership experience across the financial services industry has seen him involved in a cross section of Australian farming operations including Australia’s largest farming family’s and Corporate Agribusiness clients. David’s experience spans a broad range of agribusiness industries across Australia, representing all parts of the supply chain. He is an agribusiness operator in his own right and is dedicated to assisting the industry prosper and evolve.
Chris Bailey BSc. (Ag.) (Hons.) joined Sprout in August 2017 following a significant career in financial services spanning over a decade with ASX top 15 companies. Chris has gained great experience in dealing with family businesses of all sizes from small start up operations to some of Australia’s largest family businesses. Coming from a successful family farming business as well as being invested himself, Chris has a passion for Agribusiness. Chris has a very strong understanding of finance and agricultural markets and is very excited at the opportunities that now exist for family businesses.
James Littlejohn B Bus (Ag Com) was appointed as a Regional Partner in February 2019 following an extensive career in the top 100 ASX financial services providers in the Agribusiness and Commercial sectors. James has excellent knowledge in these specialised areas having managed a senior portfolio with complex SME businesses throughout the Central West NSW. After growing up on the land in a mixed enterprise operation, James understands what it takes to build a strong, dynamic and sustainable enterprise. James is excited to be offering his expertise in helping farming families grow their businesses for the future generations.
Alister holds over 15 years’ experience in financial services with a background in Agribusiness banking in the Riverina and Central QLD. This experience ranges across a diverse array of primary industries and roles, including senior leadership roles, relationship management, credit and product development. Alister joined Sprout in June 2018 and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Associate Degree in Business. Born and raised in Albury, Alister has strong community and family ties to North East Vic / Southern NSW area and has a keen interest in the economic and social development of regional cities and towns. Alister finds it personally fulfilling to work strategically with family farming enterprises to help expand their operations and financially prosper and extremely optimistic about the long term future of Australian agriculture and its production of the highest quality food and fibre.
